Dear Nicole,
Thank you for writing me! Tell me, how is your mother’s health? I haven’t seen her for ages!
During our studying at school we don’t think about the fact that once we will leave it. But now we do, because it is our last year at school. Every person, whatever he says, enjoys being here. Sometimes it was difficult for me to study, t communicate with other children and teachers, but now it is impossible to believe that once I will have to leave this big friendly family. I do hope that I will meet my school friends and my school life, I understand your feelings.
Well, what country are you visiting next? Where have you lived for the long time except London? What are your favourite places in the world?

What is your opinion? Should young people start working while studying at school? Why/why not?

Nowadays a lot of teenagers are working part-time because they need money to go out with their friends or to some other things.
As about me, I think that working on a part-time job is a good way to earn money for students.
Firstly, they can learn how to communicate with people and how to solve some problems.
Secondly, when children are working on a part-time job they start to be more undependant and maturer because they have to do their own decisions.
Thirdly, it is better for parents because they can save money as their children don’t need pocket money anymore. They will earn money for themselves.
In contrast, some people think that young people have to concentrate only on studing.
In fact, it is really hard especially for teenagers to work and to study at the same time because they can have problems with education.
Moreover, some people think that children aren’t mature enough to work because they can do some strange mistakes and their employers can’t blame them in it because there are a lot of things that children don’t know.
In addition, if the young person study and work part-time when he or she will have time to relax? It is bad even for his or her health.
In conclusion, I think that teenagers have to make decisions by themselves and if they want to work they can work because it is developing, interesting and gives a good opportunity to earn money.

I’m very glad to receive your letter, I haven’t heard from you for ages! How are you?
Yes, I think it’s going to be hard to leave school… It means so much to me! It’s like my second home with my second family – friends and teachers. We’ve been through a lot together. I think I feel just the same as you do. I hope we’ll stay in touch with them and won’t loose contact.
Are you planning to travel around the world? If you do, you definitely need to visit Russia. I’m sure we’ll have a good time hanging out together. Or maybe you’ve already made some plans? What countries are you going to visit first?

Nowadays it is very popular to work on a part-time job while you are a student. But a lot of people against this idea.
In my opinion, young people should start working while they are studying at school. Firstly, when you get your own money, you feel more independent from your parents. You can try to make your own budget, which will help you in future.
Secondly, you’ll know the value of money. You’ll understand that it is very hard to earn them. So you’ll spend money only on necessary things. Thirdly, you’ll get a lot of experience, which will help you in future to find a job or to help someone.
But on the other side, students shouldn’t start working. In fact, while we at school we should concentrate on studying. If you have got a job, most of time you think about it. Moreover, part-time job takes a lot of time. Sometimes you can forget about homework or just become too lazy and tired for doing it. It brings bad results to your studying. I don’t agree with these positions because all these problems help you to separate and use your free time right.
In conclusion I think that a part-time job helps us to understand the value of money, feel more independent and get a new experience, which will help us in future.

Dear Nicole,
Thank you for your letter! It was great to hear from you again!
I reckon that school is very important part of human life, because it gives us the basis. Throw that basis our opinion start to improve. Without basis it will be hard to study after school. Although school teach us to work properly, to use our time in right way.
Yes, I think I will miss the school life. I will miss my schoolmates and teachers, but on the other hand a great world is waiting for me. I hope I will be meeting school friends after school pretty often.
Where are you going to go? May I go with you? When we will go there?

Nowadays some people think that a part-time job is good for teenagers. But others think that at school we should concentrate on studying.
In my view working part-time helps students to get better experience in their job. Second it helps children to be more independent and to earn some more pocket money. A lot of teenagers become clever and older, they start to understand our world and relationships better, because they have got a part-time job. Third students at the university have not got a lot of money, so the only way for them is a part-time job, for example there are a lot of teenagers, who work in the shops and cafes. Also girls can help to bring up children, so it is a good experience for them, because they will be mothers in future.
On the other hand people think, that students should concentrate on studying, because sometimes a part-time job takes a lot of time, so it is not good for school or college. In addition, some types of part-time jobs are very difficult and boring.
To sum up, I think that teenagers can have a part-time job, but they should not forget, that they are students.

Hi, Nicole
How are you? Have you recovered from the illness you had?
I understand you perfectly well, because I feel the same about leaving school. For me school is my teachers and friends, and it means for me a lot. I think I’ll miss everything connected with my school. Even after leaving it I’m going to come there regularly to visit my teachers and of course I’m planning to meet my school friends.
Your idea about travelling sounds great! What countries do you want to visit? How long will your travel last? Are you planning to go alone?
