Millions of people come here to make their American Dream come true. Some of them dream of becoming Hollywood actors, other people want to live in comfortable houses. Nevertheless, the USA attracts with its spirit of freedom and democracy.

The United States is one of the largest countries in the world. America is divided into 50 states and each of them has its own star on the American flag. Each state has its own government and even its own laws, which differ from state to state. The capital of the United States is Washington — the city where the White House is located. Other major cities are New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and San Francisco.

They are major financial and cultural centers. An interesting fact is that the United States borders on only two countries — Canada and Mexico, but is washed by two oceans — the Atlantic and the Pacific and is known for its beaches in California. The country is rich in natural resources such as coal, natural gas, gold and silver. It has a strong economic system as well as highly developed industry and agriculture.

The national symbol of the United States is the Statue of Liberty. Talking about America, it’s impossible not to mention Hollywood. It is a region in Los Angeles that is the center of the American and global film industry. It is known for its film studios and film sets as well as the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The stars on this alley are awarded to people for their contributions to the entertainment industry.

I think that America is an interesting country. I admire its culture. I have never been there, but I look forward to the opportunity to go there and see everything with my own eyes.
