Nowadays, there are many opportunities to organize a trip anywhere and anytime.

I also like travelling because I am interested in learning more about new places and countries, exploring their sights and the culture of other people. Most of all I like to visit English-speaking countries because it’s a good language practice.

Last year I visited the UK. I went there with my friends. It is impossible to express how happy I was. We went there in the summer and stayed there for two weeks.

We arrived in London by plane. We stayed at our pen friend’s house in a village near London. It was a big house with a wonderful garden and flowers. I liked this city, because there were many bright and spacious shops, various cafes, shopping centers with cinemas, cute bridges and castles. In the vicinity of London there was a park with trees that are over 100 years old.

We visited Madame Tussauds, Trafalgar Square, we also visited Westminster Abbey. In the evening we walked along Piccadilly, which seemed to me even more beautiful than I had seen in books.

We also saw the majestic and gloomy Tower of London, which has a rich history. It was one of the earliest and most imposing castles built after the Norman invasion of England in the 11th century.

There is no doubt that there are many other attractions in London — the Tate Gallery, the City, Hyde Park and others, and everyone will find here a favorite corner according to their taste.

After returning home, I had many positive emotions.
