1. Chemical and petroleum machine-building is a branch of machine-building that manufactures production equipment and integrated production lines and installations for chemical, petrochemical, petroleum, and gas industries. It arose at the end of the 19th century and developed rapidly in the 1960-s and 1970-s in many countries in connection with the accelerated development of chemical industry and of petroleum and gas production. The rapid development of these sectors was the result of a high level of capital investment, large-scale re-equipping and improvement in the structuring of production assets.

In 1965, chemical and petroleum machine-building was made a separate industry, responsible for the development, manufacture, and supply of equipment for chemical industry, as well as for ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy, power engineering, ship-building, and food processing.

Future profession is a very important choice in every human life. Sooner or later everybody thinks about the profession. There are a lot of interesting professions in the world and I’d love to learn a few of them. It is very difficult to make a choice once and not to make a mistake. But desires don’t always coincide with possibilities.

I am a builder of bridges and now I am studying at oil and gas faculty. I am a future engineer.

For a long time I had doubts about my career choice, but now I’m on the third course and I do not regret my choice at all. I’d never thought before about the profession I chose. And now I’m glad I took the risk. I faced a great variety of opportunities. I have enough time to study and work.

I want to work in a big international company. I like to help people. I think every house should have gas.  In my opinion, engineering is a great profession. I think I will succeed.
