“What we need to become a successful leader / manager”

A person who wants to survive in the modern world, in my opinion, should be successful. It seems to me that the main thing is to look ahead and see the goal, make the right decisions, act correctly and by all means complete the work with success and victory. Successful directors set high internal performance standards. They have high expectations for their students and staff; they communicate these expectations to people inside and outside their school.

In my opinion, the main qualities that should be inherent in a good leader are the following: attentive attitude to subordinates, the ability to creatively solve problems.

A good leader is a creative person who is able to overcome stereotypes and find non-traditional ways to solve problems, create and use innovative management technologies. In addition, a good leader is a person who constantly works on himself, on his professional and personal qualities. A good leader is a strategist who sees the prospect of developing his organization for several years ahead, based on the available social conditions and resources.

               A good manager is an agent of organizational change, developing new approaches to solving problems, promoting new values ​​among employees, obsessed with an idea, ready to overcome long-term difficulties in order to bring it to life. A good leader is a person who integrates the efforts of employees for the widespread use of cultural and ethnic management tools.

Leadership is the art of influencing people, inspiring them to willingly strive to achieve certain goals. Very often, unfortunately, especially in politics, these are the personal ambitious goals of the leader himself. People follow the leader primarily because he is able to offer them (although not always really give) the means to satisfy their most important needs, to indicate the desired direction of activity.

The power of a leader is based on a good knowledge of subordinates, the ability to put oneself in their place, analyze the situation, determine the immediate and long-term consequences of one’s actions, the desire for self-improvement, the ability to inspire confidence in subordinates, the awareness of the need to perform certain actions, because the behavior of employees most often reflects what is expected of them.
