A teacher-psychologist is a specialist who does psychological work with pupils both at the personal level and at the team level. In other words, this educator can identify individual pupil problems and help overcome conflict with peers or teachers. This is the person who helps a person gain inner strength, believe in himself, break down psychological barriers and improve the quality of his life. Such specialists work in educational institutions and organizations.

Recently, this profession has become more and more in demand. What is it connected with? There are many possible reasons, and each person who applied for help probably has his own — someone is completely alone and has no one to share his joy or grief with, someone came to the reception for the sake of interest, someone really needs help, someone friends sent or advised. One way or another, if a person came, then he has reasons for that, this is the task of the psychologist to find this reason, deal with it and find options for eliminating it. Nevertheless, if the profession is more and more in demand, then the percentage of people who really need the help of a psychologist is increasing. Every time, every generation has its own difficulties and you need to be able to solve them in order to move on, to develop.

The moral qualities of a psychologist are considered benevolence, sensitivity, responsiveness, intelligence, humanity, respect for a person. In addition, a psychologist needs to have not only psychological knowledge, but also psychological intuition. A real psychologist should: have an interest in continuing education, have a quality education, have analytical skills, have communication skills and be observant, be a mature person, be able to work on mistakes and shortcomings, ask colleagues for help. Important professional qualities of a teacher are diligence, efficiency, discipline, responsibility, the ability to set a goal, choose ways to achieve it, organization, perseverance, systematic and systematic improvement of one’s professional level.

So, the world of psychology is really infinitely great and everyone has a place in it, no matter what role he plays, even if it is just a “passerby”. A very important point is that at the moment our culture of psychology and its development is given quite a lot of attention, which means that it is developing immediately. For several years now, human psychology has been of great interest to me, I like to observe my students, acquaintances, and relatives. And you know, I often see that in search of rest, running away from problems and stress, teenagers take the wrong path: aggression, isolation, silence and incredulous look, non-contact behavior — will this really help to overcome their own problems, their own insecurities? And adolescence is precisely the period when “behavioral patterns” (as psychologists call it) are formed for life. And that is why most of all I would like to engage in psychological assistance, namely, to be a psychologist that works with adolescents and children.

It seems to me that a teacher-psychologist needs a profession, because it is based on children’s misfortune, misfortunes, on children’s aggression, which is caused entirely by objective reasons and most often is just such a defensive reaction to the cruelty of the world.
