The text is about super-cheap computer chips and the ubiquity of wireless networks. The author begins by telling us that  the Internet of Things refers to the billions of physical devices around the world. Then he notes that the Internet of Things is making the fabric of the world around us smarter and more responsive. After that he point out that any physical object can be transformed into an IoT device. However, the term IoT is mainly used for devices that wouldn’t usually be generally expected to have an internet connection.

In conclusion, it is told that the benefits of the IoT for business depend on the particular implementation.

I find the text interesting.
